Is Fake fur any more or less Vegan than fake hotdogs?

I think fake fur and fake hot dogs can provide a humane alternative to the real thing.

BUT. While a well-made vegan dog isn’t likely to make a person crave a dead animal… well-made realistic fur keeps animal skins fashionable.

I have no issue wih products that imitate animal products- as long as they truly are vegan. Plus… I really like a veggie dog every now & then.
